Nature Mindfulness Camp
The Nature Mindfulness Camp with Each 1 Teach 1, Inc. is a transformative 3-day immersive experience designed to nurture the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. Rooted in trauma-informed care, this camp supports youth in developing essential life skills through mindfulness, movement, nature exploration, and meaningful connection. Offered in partnership with Hearts of the Herd, this camp takes place in a calm, outdoor setting where campers engage in nature-based learning and guided animal interactions. The experience blends mindfulness, movement, and connection to help youth build confidence, regulate emotions, strengthen relationships, and develop lifelong well-being skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Dates: July 27–29, 2026
Time: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Drop-off: 9:30 AM
Pick-up: 12:30 PM (on-time pick-up required)
Ages: 5–13
Meals: Campers bring a labeled, nut-free bagged lunch

Each 1 Teach 1, Inc. welcomes families to join us this December for two joyful classes blending mindfulness, movement, and creative expression. These classes provide meaningful social-emotional benefits, encourage creativity, and offer a grounding, family-centered experience.

Where We Meet:
Families will meet at the library. Please note that parking is $2 with Library validation at this location.
We will begin with a mindful check-in, take a short group walk to enjoy the holiday decorations and boats along Carroll Creek, and then return to our Federated Charities office to complete an art project inspired by what we observed on our walk.
Registration Fee:
$5 per child

Get ready for a frightfully fun evening at Safe Harvest Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 4:30–7:30 PM at Hood College!
Families from across the Frederick community are invited to join Each 1 Teach 1, Inc. for a special group night at this safe, free, and student-run Halloween celebration. Children under 12 can enjoy trick-or-treating, games, arts & crafts, and more—all in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere!
🎭 Costumes encouraged! Bring your favorite ghosts, goblins, and superheroes for a night filled with laughter, candy, and Halloween magic.
🕓 Drop-off: 4:30 PM — Meet our team in the Whitaker Lot (in front of Whitaker Campus Center) where your child’s spooky adventure begins!
🕖 Pick-up: 7:15 PM — Return to the same location for a safe and happy reunion.
